From the 6th to the 9th of September this year I attended the 14th meeting for the European Meeting for Ancient Ceramics in Bordeaux, France.
The conference lasted three days with a large amount of posters and presentations ranging from 3-D Modelling of voids within ceramics (Hein & Kilikoglou) to Rehydroxylation (Barrett), i.e. a method of dating ceramics by measuring the amount of water within the sherds and using that as indicator for when the sherds were first fired.
I had the honor of presenting a poster at this conference based on my MA Dissertation. It was an amazing experience and I cannot wait for next years conference in Barcelona!
